Global Peace Index 2010

So this year's list is out, and for the second year in a row New Zealand is number one.  Countries were considered on a number of factors like Level of stability, Level of respect for Human rights and Number of external and internal conflicts fought.

This is an overall picture of the rating of the countries of the world. Color code means most (green) - least peaceful (pink)

149 countries were surveyed and the top ten were:

1. New Zealand
2. Iceland
3. Japan
4. Austria
5. Norway
6.  Ireland
7. Denmark
8. Luxembourg
9. Finland
10. Sweden

And the on the bottom of the list were:

145. Pakistan
146. Sudan
147. Afghanistan
148. Somalia
149. Iraq

Hmmm im not sure if denmark fits the top 10 anymore with the new political face :/
but NZ yup i agree on that one :)
i went there for a holiday and the people are beautiful. xoxox
